Filling the Void

In the Filling the Void series the words disappear allowing silence to enter. In other words, the emphasis relies on the black squares of the crosswords puzzles rather than the white ones and its clues. In this silence, the empty spaces lead to the concept of vacuum portrayed from a holistic view of void (space without matter, lack of substance, absence of a thing, loneliness, among others). These installations lead to a more philosophical approach and more than giving answers, raise questions. Is there, today a void in our interpersonal relationships? Is technology a determining factor of influence on those changes? Are we experimenting a metamorphosis of time and space? Did we misplace the essence of humanity? Are we in a stage of evolution, immutability or recoil as social beings?
